About the position
The Graduate Training Program (GTP) at Trane Technologies is designed for recent graduates to develop into future leaders through a comprehensive 5-month Technical Sales program. Participants will gain intensive training in technical, business, sales engineering, and leadership skills, ultimately transitioning into the role of Associate Account Manager specializing in HVAC systems, services, or controls. This position emphasizes building relationships with commercial customers and providing sustainable climate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Sell efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis).
- Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in sales or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and building automation controls.
