About the position

At Trane Technologies, we are committed to creating innovative climate solutions that challenge the status quo for a sustainable world. Our Graduate Training Program (GTP) is designed to develop future leaders in the field of Technical Sales. This program spans five months and is recognized as the industry's most comprehensive training initiative, providing participants with intensive training in technical skills, business acumen, sales engineering, and leadership. Participants will begin their journey at a predetermined office location before the training program commences, which starts in either January or July. The ideal candidates for this program will become technical experts for our valued commercial customers, focusing on building and maintaining relationships while addressing the challenges these customers face. They will be responsible for selling Trane Technologies' climate solutions products, contributing to a more sustainable world. This role is pivotal in our mission to create comfortable, efficient environments, and it offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the HVAC industry. Upon successful completion of the GTP, participants will transition into the role of Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls. In this capacity, they will sell a comprehensive line of HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to design and implement effective solutions for their buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the world's most complete line of efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Work with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customers' buildings.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building management controls.
