In this position, you will support Product, Application, and Cloud security projects within the Global Information & Content Security (GICS) team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Cybersecurity Program Manager, your role as a Technical Scrum Lead (TSL) will be crucial in executing a wide range of security initiatives. You will manage agile ceremonies, oversee a backlog, and help teams drive toward quarterly deliverables. The TSL will effectively manage sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile environment, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with engineering, product, and senior management teams. Your responsibilities will include driving team iteration execution, providing guidance to senior leadership regarding technical aspects of product security, and leading the adoption of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) frameworks. You will plan, execute, and oversee multi-quarter security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery while meeting security requirements. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential for clear communication of security requirements and progress. You will also create and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and metrics dashboards to communicate project progress and potential roadblocks effectively. Additionally, you will facilitate agile ceremonies and coach the team on Scrum practices, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive team iteration execution and communicate with management and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and insights to senior leadership regarding technical aspects of product security.
  • Lead the adoption of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) frameworks to enhance overall security strategy.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee multi-quarter security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery while meeting security requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for clear communication of security requirements and progress.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and metrics dashboards.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to refine and prioritize items on the backlog.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Manage projects and facilitate sprint releases.
  • Coach the team on Scrum practices and principles for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on Jira best practices and ensure consistent usage.
  • Configure and customize Jira workflows, boards, and project settings to align with project requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements.
  • Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Scrum Master experience and 2 years leading sprints.
  • Proven experience and expertise in agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for Agile Stories, Epics, and Initiatives.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Proven experience delivering complex initiatives from an engineering and agile project management standpoint.
  • Proven experience resolving cross-team prioritization conflicts using decision-making frameworks.
  • Expert coach on implementation of agile scrum.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC.
  • Experience working with Information Security teams to assess and size stories/epics.
  • Broad knowledge of Security technologies, processes, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on messaging to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Information Security principles, processes, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of security practices such as OWASP top 10.
  • Relevant certification (Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ITIL).
  • Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries.
  • Familiarity with ad tech, AI, streaming and similar products/services.
  • Experience working in a global company.
