About the position

The Technical Scrum Master (QA Engineer) role at CGI involves overseeing an onsite-offshore team to deliver technology-related programs using Agile methodology. The position requires close collaboration with Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in areas such as Automation, Performance, and Test Data Management. The Scrum Master will leverage technical expertise to enhance team productivity and improve work processes, while also facilitating Scrum ceremonies and promoting a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an onsite-offshore team and deliver programs using Agile methodology.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Grooming, and Retrospective meetings.
• Encourage a continuous learning environment to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts.
• Lead scrum meetings, iteration reviews, and maintain backlogs.
• Conduct daily scrum meetings with offshore and on-site teams to identify impediments.
• Provide training and coaching in Agile Development principles and practices to development teams and Product Owners.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in QA space and experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Team member following Agile methodology.
• Experience/understanding of tools and processes related to Quality Engineering (Performance engineering, Automation, and Test Data Management).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Foundational understanding of flow and agile metrics.
