About the position

At HCL Technologies, we prioritize our employees and clients, embodying our core value of 'People First.' We are committed to continuous learning, improvement, and innovation, and we approach challenges with an open mind. Our focus is on delivering programs and projects that not only meet but exceed stakeholder expectations. The Technical Scrum Master plays a crucial role in facilitating the daily operations of an Agile team, ensuring that progress is transparent to all key stakeholders. This position requires a strategic thinker who can also act tactically, adapting to the needs of the team and the project at hand. The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring that the team adheres to Agile values and principles, applying the SAFe framework effectively. Transparency is key, and the Scrum Master must ensure that all team activities, including sprints, velocity, risks, and stakeholder satisfaction, are visible. The role also involves delivering integrated change across multiple Development Centers, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle, and addressing defects as early as possible. Collaboration with Run teams is essential to maintain the long-term integrity and maintainability of our software assets. In this facilitative leadership role, the Scrum Master promotes self-organization within the team, encouraging collective optimization to achieve defined Sprint and project goals. Rather than acting as an authority figure, the Scrum Master takes ownership of ensuring that the right processes are in place, allowing the team to take ownership of their activities. This role is pivotal in driving the team towards success and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
