Technical Scrum Master
Key Role:
Work with product owners, engineers, and architects to document requirements in Jira, including Epics or Tasks, and help facilitate Scrum to the larger team by ensuring Scrum framework. Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery, including cultural barriers and logistic challenges. Analyze business processes and work with the project team to implement and improve processes. Partner with product owners to support short and long-term release planning and keep the work backlog healthy and prepared for execution. Support QA and requirements validation by meeting with various stakeholders to discuss needs and providing suggestions during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering. Lead regular Agile sessions to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation, including team scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and user demonstrations.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working with technology in a professional environment
2+ years of experience as a Requirements Analyst or Scrum Master in an Agile environment
Experience using requirements management tools, including Jira, GitLab and Bitbucket
Experience supporting SDLC processes and phases
Experience with requirements management processes
Ability to communicate complex te chn ical topics to management and non-te chn ical audiences
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Technology
IC Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the requirements traceability matrix
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills, to provide te chn ical assistance to IT development teams
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree
Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
