About the position

The Technical ServiceNow Project Manager at Xyant Technology, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills, ensuring that project objectives are met and delivery timelines are adhered to. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and success criteria.
• Execute projects using established project management methodologies and best practices.
• Manage Fixed Price and T&M project estimation techniques, prepare contracts, and track effort and requirements to closure.
• Handle out-of-scope requests through Change Requests.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and customization of ServiceNow solutions.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, and team members.
• Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing proactive strategies.
• Ensure that deliverables meet high-quality standards through regular project reviews and audits.

Requirements

• 7 to 8 years of IT experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow project implementation required.
• Proven experience managing ServiceNow projects from initiation to completion.
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Active required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (like PRINCE2) certification preferred.
• ServiceNow ITSM Intermediate/Pro certification preferred.
• ServiceNow Now Create Agile Development certification preferred.
• ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management certification preferred.
