About the position

The Technical Service Trainer at Spectrum is responsible for delivering training programs and curriculums for Field Operations support teams. This role involves identifying training needs, developing training plans, and facilitating learning through various methods. The trainer acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure that training content aligns with business strategies and professional development needs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates learning through various delivery methods to develop participants' skill sets.
  • Supervises employees during training sessions.
  • Performs all administrative duties associated with conducting training.
  • Exhibits a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Evaluates learning outcomes, including behavior change and performance improvement, and provides feedback to learners and their managers.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with revisions to existing courseware.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of presentation or training delivery experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a ROC IV, RSC IV, DOJ III, SRC III or equivalent role.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of training and/or work experience.
  • Successful completion of all NCTI/SCTE coursework for RSC I-IV and ROC I-IV & completion of all applicable skill assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
