About the position

The Technical Services Summer Student Program at Saudi Aramco offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering and digital transformation. Students will work closely with senior engineers to assist in technology scouting, technical assessments, and inspection activities, contributing to the company's commitment to safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in technology scouting and technical assessments.
• Conduct inspections and assist in querying databases for minimum wall thicknesses for valves according to ASME B16.34.
• Familiarize with industry-wide technical standards and identify important design factors such as pressure and temperature ratings, minimum wall thickness, corrosion allowance, and material groups.
• Support digital transformation initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers and specialists.
• Develop reports and assist Digital Transformation lead engineers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering for the Technical Services role.
• Pursuing a degree in IT or Engineering with exposure to digital transformation for the Digital Transformation role.
• Familiarity with industry standards and specifications related to valves.
