About the position

The Technical Services Analyst II at Sonic Healthcare USA, Inc. is responsible for providing first-line support for IT infrastructure and application-related incidents and requests. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users, and ensuring maximum uptime for all users through effective problem resolution and user training. The analyst will also engage in process improvement projects and maintain technical knowledge through ongoing education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate response to technical questions and problems related to hardware, network, or application issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with personal computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity and printing issues.
  • Configure and install personal computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Provide software installation and support for new hires and existing employees.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and provide user training as necessary.
  • Work with vendors to diagnose and repair issues for users.
  • Maintain personal technical knowledge through reading and continuing education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing IT Support in an Enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (Incident and request management).
  • Good understanding of Windows Operating System, Personal Computer Hardware, applications, and peripherals.
  • Strong knowledge of desktops, servers, printers, and network devices.
  • Strong networking skills (LAN/WAN/VPN).
  • Good server administrative skills (Physical/Virtual).

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate degree in Information Technology field or relevant IT certifications.
