About the position

The Technical Services Project Manager at Sage Intacct's Technical Solutions Group (TSG) is responsible for managing the delivery of software integrations and customizations for customers and partners. This role involves overseeing multiple complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The Project Manager will utilize Jira for project management and will serve as the primary contact for customers, facilitating effective communication and project handover to support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful in-scope, on-budget, and on-time delivery of customizations and integrations.
  • Serve as the primary project contact for customers, handling all project-related communications and managing customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, including leading and planning tasks and personnel, and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Utilize Jira for project management, ensuring accurate updates on project status, budget forecasts, task tracking, and resource assignments.
  • Ensure project documentation, including Jira Epics and issues, is complete, concise, and in compliance with the TSG Team Agreements and Documentation Control standards.
  • Lead the project team by driving adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Team Agreements, ensuring that Jira issues, user stories, requirements, and deliverables are well-defined and actionable.
  • Participate in project handover meetings with the sales team to ensure a thorough understanding of the customer's solution and deliverables.
  • Actively contribute to customer requirements analysis sessions and translate requirements into software solutions.
  • Monitor and control project progress, address change orders, and provide regular status and budget updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure accurate time tracking for all project tasks and review/approve project team time entries.
  • Lead project closure, ensuring all deliverables are met, lessons learned are documented, and the project is transitioned smoothly to support.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP/financial management software implementation or software consulting services.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects, delivering software solutions, and driving customer success.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall (PMP certification is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, customer expectations, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
