About the position

The Technical Software Program Manager role is part of the Android Software Platform team at Client Mobility, a Lenovo Company. This position focuses on the development of innovative solutions and carrier customization for mobile devices. The Program Manager will oversee quarterly release content and individual software development projects, ensuring adherence to development practices while driving improvements in quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end program management of AI, ecosystem, cloud-based services, and monetization projects utilizing both agile and waterfall development models.
• Use project management tools (like Smartsheet and MS Project) to collaborate with product development managers, UI/UX, and development teams to create detailed project plans.
• Schedule development and critical path analysis.
• Ability to concisely present project status to senior management.
• Track project progress to meet project milestones and drive to completion.
• Identify and mitigate project risks by leading resolution to dependencies or issues.
• Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by promptly communicating project status.
• Coordination with global teams.
