About the position

The Technical Solutions Architect I is responsible for managing technical solutions for the business, overseeing applications, products, and services throughout their development and operational implementation. This role involves operationalizing and managing activities, developing program materials, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners. The position requires basic programming skills, SQL knowledge, and strong problem-solving abilities to address current issues and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the implementation and operation of technical solutions, products, programs, and services.
  • Acts as the business lead for the project with the vendor, affinity partners, and internal teams as needed.
  • Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the organization and proposes solutions.
  • Participates with line of business and teams to assess new proposed products or services to ensure they fit with IT standards and requirements.
  • Manages application implementation in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Presents status updates to leadership on a regular basis and identifies issues affecting project timelines.
  • Manages the vendor relationship on an ongoing basis and schedules regular calls and meetings to discuss program metrics and operations.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers training and presentations to internal users.
  • Acts as the application(s) subject matter expert for internal users.
  • Resolves escalated application issues covering a variety of concerns.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience in IT and business.
  • A minimum of 3 years project/program management experience either leading major projects or parts of large-scale projects.
