About the position

The Technical Solutions Specialist at Salon Service Group is responsible for maintaining and supporting various IT systems, including PCs, VOIP phone systems, cloud-based security tools, and enterprise applications. This role involves responding to technical inquiries, assisting users with system configurations, and writing training manuals, all while ensuring effective communication with non-IT personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to tech inquiries via email, online chats, over the phone, or in person.
  • Add and inactivate users in third-party systems including VOIP phones and ERP users.
  • Write and edit training manuals.
  • Assist sales reps, office users, and store associates with systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with non-IT personnel within or outside the company.

Requirements

  • An associate degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Openness to learning new technologies.
  • Quality time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
