About the position

The Technical Solutions Specialist is a key role within the Solutions Team, serving as the first point of contact for IT support at the church. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring smooth operations across multiple campuses and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level helpdesk support, including ticket triage, incident resolution, and escalation.
• Adhere to SLAs and respond promptly to incoming requests, resolving issues efficiently.
• Prioritize calls based on their impact on the church, ensuring critical issues are addressed first.
• Deliver on-site and remote support to various campuses and events.
• Provision, deploy, and maintain hardware devices, including Windows, Mac, and iOS devices.
• Manage user provisioning and access.
• Conduct end-user technical training.
• Participate in a weekend rotation for support duties.
• Assist in events that may occur outside typical business hours.
• Stay updated with the latest technical trends and cybersecurity developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a Technology Support (IT/IS) role.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey solutions to end users.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft hardware, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience with ticketing systems for issue resolution.
• Ability to create and maintain knowledgebase articles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Growth mindset with flexibility and teachability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
