The AWS Infrastructure Services Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused sourcing recruiter with a passion for delighting clients and candidates to join our global recruiting organization. AWS Infrastructure Services dedicated talent acquisition team plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top AWS Infrastructure Services professionals across all domains. These talent acquisition specialists partner closely with AWS leaders to understand technical and operational requirements, driving candidate generation strategies, and maintaining high hiring standards. This structure, supported by strategic talent acquisition efforts, enables Amazon to scale its AWS Infrastructure Services operations effectively while adapting to evolving customer needs and technologies. Successful technical sourcers on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking against metrics, and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring teams to execute sourcing and assessment approaches
  • Source passive candidates through various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, and Boolean search techniques
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive market research
  • Track and report on key sourcing metrics and hiring funnel data
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS
  • Support recruitment events and initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment experience
  • 3+ years of passive candidate generation experience
  • Experience with content management systems/applicant tracking systems for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
  • Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups
