About the position

Samsung SDSA is seeking a Technical Sourcing Recruiter to enhance our recruiting process from start to finish. This role is integral to the IT Talent Acquisition team, where you will leverage your project management, analytical, and data-centric skills to improve hiring efficiency and ensure a world-class candidate experience. You will have the opportunity to learn the intricacies of a high-functioning recruiting process and contribute to building strong teams within the organization. In this position, you will partner with a diverse range of stakeholders, making a significant impact across the company through the relationships you cultivate both internally and externally. The role involves sourcing for a variety of technical positions, including but not limited to network engineering, software engineering, software architecture, and cloud engineering. The position is based in our regional headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ, and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days in the office and two days working from home. Samsung SDS is the digital arm of the Samsung group, providing global cloud and digital transformation innovations. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions and services across various sectors, including government, financial services, and healthcare, enabling our customers to thrive in a hyper-connected economy by enhancing productivity and making informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates from top talent pools.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team functions.
  • Engage and activate candidates, cultivating relationships and following up throughout the interview process.
  • Review resumes and applications, make candidate recommendations, and conduct initial phone screens.
  • Manage workflows within the applicant tracking system and update it with relevant information.
  • Communicate insights to stakeholders to influence business decisions.
  • Independently lead multiple concurrent talent strategy projects.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives, including internship programs, campus recruiting, career fairs, and new hire onboarding.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing in the IT sector.
  • Proven work experience in technical recruiting or technical talent acquisition, either in-house or agency.
  • 2+ years of experience negotiating offers and closing candidates.
  • Hands-on experience with modern sourcing techniques, including recruiting on social platforms and using sourcing tools.
  • Ability to positively present the company and open roles to potential candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and tech-savvy skills.
  • Technical expertise to understand and explain job requirements for open roles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
