About The Position
The Technical Specialist I position at Pace Analytical Services is a full-time role based in Sheridan, Wyoming, designed to facilitate effective communication between clients, field technicians, project coordinators, and project managers. This position is crucial for ensuring that project milestones, updates, and deliverables are communicated clearly and efficiently. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and project expectations effectively. In this role, the Technical Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings and collaborating with laboratory staff to ensure project status is communicated accurately. The specialist will also be responsible for problem-solving project issues and delays, providing alternatives to maintain quality and turnaround times. Additionally, the position involves generating reports, reviewing project dashboards, and providing analysis and interpretation of data results to clients. The Technical Specialist will work closely with Department Leads to assess testing capabilities for incoming projects and support sample management for complex projects. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, including developing project objectives, budgets, and timelines, while adhering to applicable laws and regulations. The specialist will contribute to the overall efficiency of the department and promote a positive workplace environment by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior in all interactions.
