About the position

The Technical Specialist - Process at STRATTEC Security Corporation will serve as the hands-on technical expert for the stamping process group at the Milwaukee facility. This role focuses on sampling new and modified tooling, leading troubleshooting efforts, developing technical expertise within the team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead as the hands-on technical expert for the stamping process group.
• Sample new and modified tooling and develop detailed sampling reports.
• Identify, develop, and deploy common-sense repair and maintenance solutions.
• Serve as the technical lead for process troubleshooting in stamping areas.
• Align with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hire, develop, and lead an additional stamping technician.
• Ensure stamping associates are adequately trained and meet technical training requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks such as performance reviews and associate development planning.
• Collect, review, and analyze maintenance/tooling repairs and spare part usage data.
• Leverage lean concepts and industry benchmarks to simplify processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Technical Certification/Associates Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role including machine setup and operation.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to develop insightful solutions.
• Strong communication skills to influence others.
• Ability to manage projects and work in a team project environment.
