The Infotainment Project Manager at American Honda Motor Co. is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and delivery of technical development projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all development content milestones are achieved while delivering a quality product on schedule. The position requires effective management of project timelines, resources, and budgets, as well as the creation and coordination of the overall development schedule to ensure alignment between multiple functional disciplines and project milestones. In this role, the Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration, track maturation, and capture open concerns. A significant part of the job involves analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs). The Project Manager will also be responsible for communicating complex data findings and insights to management, conducting thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, and monitoring and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies. Additionally, the Project Manager will develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to facilitate data-driven insights. They will set up and maintain project space in Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA, coordinate development confirmation events to ensure the progress of appropriate hardware and software, and communicate project progress, status updates, and risks to stakeholders. Conducting reviews to evaluate outcomes and assist in facilitating decision-making within the project team is also a key responsibility of this position.
