About the position

The Technical Sr. Project Manager for Infotainment at Honda plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and delivery of technical development projects. This position is focused on achieving milestones for all development content while ensuring the delivery of a quality product on schedule. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, creating and coordinating the overall development schedule to ensure alignment between multiple functional disciplines and project milestones. In this role, the Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration, tracking maturation and capturing open concerns. Analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs) is a key responsibility, along with communicating complex data findings and insights to management. The Project Manager will conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, while also monitoring and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to facilitate data-driven insights. The Project Manager will set up and maintain project space in Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA, coordinate development confirmation events to ensure progress of appropriate hardware and software, and communicate project progress, status updates, and risks to stakeholders. Conducting reviews to evaluate outcomes and assist in facilitating decision-making within the project team is also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a science-related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (IT preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably with PMP or equivalent training.
  • Experience creating and managing schedules.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce presentation documents.
