About the position

The Senior Technical Writer at Honda is responsible for ensuring that automobile and powersports publications are technically accurate, informative, and easy to understand. This role supports the division's goal of achieving industry-leading customer service by providing technicians with the necessary information to maintain and repair customer units effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review provided service information drafts for technical accuracy and correct formatting.
• Write technical information content for various bulletins and job aids as necessary.
• Participate in or lead special projects to support the department.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in the automotive technical field.
• Automotive experience with knowledge of vehicle systems (Honda-specific knowledge a plus).
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and working in a team setting.
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
• Decision-making and judgment skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
