About The Position
As a Technical Staff, Datacenter Architect on the Engineering Technologist Team at Dell Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of large-scale AI infrastructure. This position is based in either Santa Clara, California, or Austin, Texas, and involves engaging with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions tailored to their specific applications. You will be responsible for driving the architecture of end-to-end solutions that encompass everything from server design to data center operations, including both air and liquid-cooled servers, integrated rack solutions, power distribution, and heat rejection systems. Your work will not only focus on optimizing performance but also on innovating power-centric solutions that cater to increasingly dense IT environments. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience—over 15 years in the field—to assess customer requirements and develop blueprints that align with their geographical needs. You will collaborate closely with key external partners to create and communicate differentiated solutions, ensuring that complex data center concepts are clearly articulated to customers, colleagues, and upper management. Your insights will influence product architecture and definitions, and you will be at the forefront of driving innovation at the data center level, particularly through the implementation of liquid cooling technologies and enhancing power density.
