About the position

As a Technical Staffing Recruiter at TEKsystems, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating business transformation for our customers by recruiting top IT consultants. You will serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting experience cycle, ensuring a seamless and effective process for both candidates and clients. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with consultants, understanding our clients' business and IT initiatives, and matching candidates with the best opportunities based on their career goals and the specific needs of our clients. You will also be responsible for negotiating unique compensation packages to attract and hire candidates that meet our clients' requirements. In this dynamic role, you will be expected to leverage your networking skills to connect with potential candidates and maintain high ethical standards while doing so. You will work closely with diverse groups of people, fostering a collaborative team environment. Your ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, will be crucial as you seek out others' perspectives and ask insightful questions. The position requires a strong desire to thrive in a commission-driven, performance-based environment, where identifying and pursuing beneficial new opportunities is essential. You will also have access to an elite and continuous recruiter training program, which will enhance your skills in the IT Talent Solutions and Services industry, providing you with the tools necessary for success.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting experience cycle.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, including outbound calling to match them with the best opportunities.
  • Understand clients' business and IT initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments to best match the career goals of consultants with their hiring needs.
  • Negotiate unique compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract and hire candidates for clients' needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Enthusiasm to network and build strong relationships with others while maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Preference and ability to work in a team environment and relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
  • Desire for a career in a commission-driven, performance-based environment where it is necessary to quickly and consistently identify and pursue beneficial new opportunities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that are leveraged to seek out others' perspectives by asking good questions.
  • Eagerness to learn and enthusiasm to experiment to find the best possible solutions.
