About the position

As a Technical Staffing Recruiter at TEKsystems, you will play a pivotal role in connecting top IT consultants with leading organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire recruiting experience cycle, ensuring that both candidates and clients have a seamless and positive interaction. You will be the main point of contact for consultants, guiding them through the recruitment process and helping them find the best opportunities that align with their career goals. This role requires a deep understanding of our clients' business and IT initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments, to effectively match candidates with their hiring needs. In this dynamic position, you will actively recruit top IT talent by building and maintaining relationships with consultants. This will involve outbound calling and networking to identify potential candidates and understand their aspirations. You will also be responsible for negotiating unique compensation packages, including wages and benefits, to attract and hire candidates that meet our clients' needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and relate openly with diverse groups of people will be essential in fostering strong relationships and ensuring a successful recruitment process. Responsibilities

  • Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting experience cycle.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, including outbound calling to match them with the best opportunities.
  • Understand clients' business and IT initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments to best match the career goals of consultants with their hiring needs.
  • Negotiate unique compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract and hire candidates for clients' needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Enthusiasm to network and build strong relationships with others while maintaining high ethical standards.
  • The preference and ability to work in a team environment and the ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
  • A desire for a career in a mission-driven, performance-based environment where it is necessary to quickly and consistently identify and pursue beneficial new opportunities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that are leveraged to seek out others' perspectives by asking good questions.
