About the position

The Technical Strategic Program Manager - Chief of Staff will serve as a key partner to the Senior Vice President of Product Management, focusing on driving the execution of strategic initiatives and optimizing cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the seamless operation of the product management team and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the SVP to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and manage high-priority projects, ensuring timely and high impact delivery.
  • Provide deep technical insights and expertise to support decision-making processes and product development strategies.
  • Facilitate collaboration between various groups, including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the product management team.
  • Act as a conduit for communication between the SVP and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on priorities and objectives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success of product initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in a technical role within engineering, product management, project management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Chief of Staff or in a senior project management role is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to other stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering high-impact projects on time.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $237,000 - $355,000.
