About the position

The Technical Subcontract Management (TSM) position is a critical role within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team at LM Aeronautics, focused on minimizing disruptions in the supply chain through onsite oversight of supplier execution. The TSM will provide support at various major systems, airframe, and tooling suppliers within a 25-mile radius of Orange County, CA, ensuring timely delivery and quality of components essential for aircraft production.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support at various customer major systems, airframe, and tooling suppliers.
• Work with supplier personnel to prioritize components through manufacturing.
• Validate the status of deliverable parts and provide detailed status updates to LM procurement.
• Prepare plans to reduce/prevent shortages in the supply chain.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Collaborate across multiple functions including production, procurement, quality, and engineering to expedite parts/assemblies.
• Analyze supplier processes and develop improvement plans in collaboration with supplier and customer personnel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• 3+ years of experience in the Aircraft Production Process across all areas of the Customer's Lines of Business.
• Must reside within a 25-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA.
• Open to occasional travel to other locations in or surrounding states.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience dealing directly with Suppliers.
• Familiarity with legacy aircraft including F16 and C130 with a background in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to operate computers.
