About the position

The Technical Support 3 position serves as an analyst in an Information Technology environment, providing expert diagnosis, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network products. The role involves leading and coordinating teams on technical assignments and ensuring effective communication with users and management to enhance productivity and efficiency in computer-related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with users, unit staff, and Managers
  • Maintain a broad system knowledge, knowledge of computer-related equipment, and end-user software
  • Analyze operational problems
  • Investigate alternative solutions and potential risks
  • Initiate corrective action
  • Record and report status

Requirements
