About the position

Novation Tek Inc. is seeking two Technical Support Consultants to enhance the Service Desk's capacity in delivering tier 2 and tier 3 level support. The role involves providing expert-level technical assistance, resolving complex IT issues, and efficiently handling escalated service desk tickets. The consultants will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of IT service delivery, requiring hands-on knowledge and experience with various IT tools and services.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Service Desk's capacity in delivering tier 2 and tier 3 level support.
  • Provide expert-level technical assistance for complex IT issues.
  • Efficiently handle escalated service desk tickets.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of IT service delivery.
  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Bookings.
  • Utilize NinjaOne for remote monitoring and management of devices.
  • Provide remote support using Splashtop and manage remote access policies.
  • Manage service desk workflows and ensure SLA compliance using ticketing systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT service management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a lead capacity.
  • 3 years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in administration of Microsoft 365 Services.
  • Experience with user licensing management in Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Teams administration and troubleshooting.
  • Configuration and management of device compliance policies using Intune.
  • Administration of Exchange Online and troubleshooting email delivery issues.
  • Management of SharePoint sites and resolving access issues.
  • Support for OneDrive for Business and troubleshooting synchronization issues.
  • Administration of Microsoft Bookings and resolving booking issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint administration.
  • 3 years of FTE experience in NinjaOne for remote monitoring and management.
  • 3 years of FTE experience in Splashtop for remote desktop solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
