About the position
Join Datadog's in-house product experts as part of the technical solutions team, which plays a crucial role in enabling the company's worldwide growth. This team is dedicated to educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are satisfied and successful. Through demos, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing support, we share our technical and product expertise with customers. As a growing global team, we collaborate constantly to share knowledge and continuously advance our technical skill set. You will be part of a diverse team with traditional and non-traditional backgrounds, working together to solve challenging problems in a startup-like environment where your contributions will be immediately visible.
Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests on our fast-paced team while continuing to educate our clients on the use of the platform
- Reproduce issues and dive into the 800+ integrations that Datadog works with
- Build out documentation and knowledge-based articles for a variety of technology
- Drive product conversations based on needs and problems learned during client interactions
Requirements
- Self-motivated, detail-attentive, and have a desire for continuous learning
- Passionate about working with customers to solve complex problems
- Bringing some knowledge of the software industry, including programming experience, and some infrastructure experience (Linux preferred)
- Able to work a rotating schedule that requires weekend availability
Nice-to-haves
- CS or Engineering majors
- Experience in CI / CD and test automation
- Experience in frontend development (JavaScript, React, etc)
- Active contribution to open-source projects (code, bug reports, etc.) and the Engineering Community (Meetups, etc.)
