About the position

The Technical Support Engineer Intern (Middleware) role at Oracle is designed for early-career talent to provide post-sales technical assistance to customers using Oracle products. The intern will act as a customer advocate, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and aligning Oracle's resources to support successful deployments. This position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing customer expectations, and collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver post-sales technical assistance to customers using Oracle products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle products.
  • Address non-technical inquiries through phone and electronic communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle teams on customer situations and complex issues.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality resolutions.
  • Educate customers through the problem-solving process.
  • Adopt Oracle diagnostic methodology and procedures when handling technical issues.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Cloud technologies, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction via telephone and written correspondence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle products or similar technologies.
