About the position

The Technical Support Engineer Intern position at Oracle is designed for early career talent, particularly students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or related fields. The role focuses on delivering post-sales technical assistance to customers, ensuring they successfully implement Oracle products. Interns will act as customer advocates, diagnosing and resolving technical issues while collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and support successful deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver post-sales technical assistance to customers using Oracle products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle products.
  • Address non-technical inquiries through phone and electronic communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, acting as a dedicated advocate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on complex customer issues.
  • Educate customers on the problem-solving process and Oracle's diagnostic methodology.
  • Contribute written articles to Oracle's Solution Knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed at least sophomore year by summer 2025.
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, SQL, XML, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, and J2EE Standard.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS, and Network Architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Containers; Kubernetes and Dockers.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cloud Foundry, Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Big Data, Analytics, Large Language Models, Database architecture.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
