About the position
PaxeraHealth Corp. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their technical support department. This remote position focuses on providing exceptional customer support for medical imaging technologies, ensuring that clients receive the necessary assistance with software and hardware implementations. The role involves problem-solving, relationship development, and technical issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers and distributors receive adequate level of support, including technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone, remote and other electronic mediums.
- Assist with medical imaging software and hardware implementations for new customers.
- Manage product setup and provide product presentations to customers and visitors.
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a healthcare IT Technical Support role, including the development, analysis, and implementation of PACS and medical IT software.
- Ability to solve complex problems related to PACS software implementation, upgrades, and compatibility/bug issues.
- Knowledge in Healthcare imaging Standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE).
- Ability to prioritize and delegate urgent quality tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines.
- Strong relationship-development skills, resulting in long-term, mutually beneficial vendor and client relationships.
- Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to understand and express complex issues and solutions.
- BA/BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or a combination of education and experience.
