About the position

The Technical Support Engineer (Middleware) role at Oracle involves providing post-sales technical assistance to customers, ensuring successful implementation of Oracle products. This position focuses on diagnosing and resolving technical issues while acting as a customer advocate, collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and support successful deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver post-sales technical assistance to customers using Oracle products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle products.
  • Address non-technical inquiries through phone and electronic communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle teams on customer situations and complex issues.
  • Use automated technology to diagnose, document, and remotely resolve customer issues.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality resolutions.
  • Educate customers on the problem-solving process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or other Engineering disciplines.
  • Some understanding of Cloud technologies, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle products and services.
  • Familiarity with customer support processes and tools.
