Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in San Mateo, CA. As a part of the largest cloud-based B2B physical security platform company in the world, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing base of enterprise customers. This position involves working with our entire line of cloud-managed building security products, which includes video security cameras, access control systems, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace solutions, and intercoms. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, educating customers on system installation and configuration, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify and resolve bugs. Your contributions will directly impact product improvement and customer satisfaction, making this a vital role within our organization. In this position, you will work both independently and collaboratively, owning customer issues from creation to resolution. You will communicate technical matters effectively to customers, both orally and in writing, ensuring they understand the solutions provided. Additionally, you will stay up to date on the latest products and industry technologies, which will help you provide the best practice design, installation, and configuration expertise to our enterprise customers. Writing technical knowledge base articles and whitepapers will also be part of your responsibilities, contributing to the overall knowledge and resources available to both customers and internal teams.
