About the position

The Technical Support Engineer role involves providing advanced technical support to end clients, particularly in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with applications and software. This position is crucial for ensuring that problems that first-line support cannot resolve are effectively addressed, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support end clients throughout their integrations by responding to unresolved issues from first-line product support.
  • Interact directly with clients via phone and chat support to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
  • Provide technical support to administrators, technicians, and product support personnel.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex computer systems, software, integrations, or networked systems.

Requirements

  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (e.g., Ping, Telnet).
  • Email troubleshooting experience (O365, Exchange).
  • Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory support.
  • Experience with SSO or other authentication/user management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with bi-directional integration between two systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with scripting languages, specifically JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
  • Ability to gather and read various log files.
