Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, our Technical Support Engineers provide exceptional support and timely resolutions, offering remote support to robotic powered industrial vehicles installed at customer sites across North America. This role allows you to support customers as well as collaborate with Field Service, Engineering, and QA teams. Our Support Engineers enhance the product through their feedback, contributing to its growth and improvement. Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via email, phone and virtual meetings to help solve product, software & application (logic) questions and issues
  • Manage and record actions/findings in Salesforce
  • Partner with Field Service, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to provide the best possible resolution to customer concerns
  • Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment
  • Take ownership of and lead support projects
  • Proactively maintain professional skills development
  • Engage in regular product and software training/discussions

Requirements

  • Possess a unique combination of problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a customer-service spirit
  • Bachelor's degree OR at least 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of Linux OS
  • Good familiarity with networking configuration
  • Familiarity with programming languages: Python/BASH
  • Familiarity with databases: Postgres/SQL
  • Strong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to read electrical diagrams
  • Experience with robotic systems
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
