About the position
As a Technology Support III team member in the Corporate and Investment Bank's Payments Technology group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of production application flows. This position emphasizes a commitment to continuous improvement and involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving service interruptions for both internally and externally developed systems, ultimately leading to a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm.
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
- Assists in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and addresses issues utilizing standard observability tools.
- Identifies issues for escalation and communication, providing solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyzes complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud.
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Hands-on experience with writing and executing SQL in SQL Server 2012 and/or other database applications desired.
- Solid understanding of scripting such as VBScript, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Candidate must be either a citizen of the United States or a Lawful Permanent Resident with seven years continuous stay in the United States.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting.
- Working understanding of public cloud.
