About the position

The Technical Support Specialist role involves providing on-site technical support to the end-user community, focusing on software and hardware installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The position requires strong customer service skills and technical knowledge to effectively resolve issues related to software and hardware products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for end-users.
  • Install and maintain hardware and software.
  • Perform PC refresh support including imaging and deploying PCs.
  • Troubleshoot applications running on MS Windows platforms.
  • Follow company procedures and protocols.

Requirements

  • Proficient with MS Operating Systems: Win11, Win 10, Win 7.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for applications on Windows.
  • Basic understanding of networks.
  • Desktop/Laptop hardware repair experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Knowledge in Asset Management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow for requests and incidents.
