The Technical Support Specialist at HWR Workholding USA is a full-time role focused on providing technical inside sales support to enhance the sales team's capabilities. This position involves collaborating with engineering teams, interpreting technical drawings, and developing customized solutions for clients in the precision manufacturing sector. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with outside sales to create customized work-holding quotes
- Review and interpret part prints to develop tailored concepts for customers
- Process incoming orders with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate with our German HQ to fulfill orders and deliver top-notch solutions
- Work closely with our engineering team in Germany to create optimal work-holding designs
- Build relationships with suppliers to support ongoing project requirements
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management to keep operations running smoothly
- Represent HWR at trade shows, showcasing innovations to potential clients
- Travel occasionally to our HQ in Germany to deepen knowledge and expertise
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in sales support or technical sales
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
- Machining experience is a significant advantage
