The Technical Support Technician role is focused on providing exceptional technical support for a variety of client products, including consumer electronics and medical equipment. The position involves troubleshooting, repairs, and managing service calls, while also contributing to the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring effective problem resolution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and manage call center initiatives for client products across various industries.
  • Perform systems troubleshooting and repairs either in a lab setting or onsite for clients.
  • Utilize software and hardware tools to diagnose errors or technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct ATP testing in accordance with QA processes.
  • Develop and document work procedures, producing timely and detailed service reports.
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all decisions and actions taken until resolution.

Requirements

  • Hands-on electronics hardware technical troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong initiative and advanced customer service skills.
  • Diligence and commitment to resolving problems effectively.
  • Proven team player who proactively assists colleagues.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of web-based technologies.
