About the position

Infosys is seeking a Technical Test Lead with Telecom Domain Experience, Mainframe and Automation. As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will be working directly with clients to conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Your expertise in automation and mainframe will be crucial as you design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Responsibilities

• Act as a validation and quality assurance expert reviewing the functionality of existing systems.
• Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy & design.
• Lead execution of test plans to ensure superior outcomes.
• Design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members to create innovative, high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• 4 years of experience in Automation Testing and creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios, and Test cases with hands-on technical knowledge.
• Experience in Telecom Verizon wireless applications is a must, including API Automation using Edge, Selenium Webdriver, and TestNG.
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and End to End Testing.
• Strong experience in JCL, SQL, DB2, FILE-AID, QMF, SPUFI, Cobol, MVS, VSAM, TSO, ISPF, CICS.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA and Lean/Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in understanding the product and analyzing user stories.
• Experience in testing tools like DevOps CICD implementation, Jenkins, Postman, SoapUI.
• Very good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple projects.
• Analytical and communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
