About the position

Infosys is seeking an Automation Technical Test Lead who will serve as a validation and quality assurance expert, responsible for reviewing the functionality of existing systems. In this role, you will work directly with clients to conduct requirement analysis, define test strategies, design tests, and lead execution efforts to ensure superior outcomes. Your expertise in automation and mainframe will be crucial as you design an optimal test environment that simulates real-time scenarios. Responsibilities

  • Act as a validation and quality assurance expert to review existing systems' functionality.
  • Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy and design.
  • Lead execution of tests to guarantee superior outcomes.
  • Design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios.
  • Collaborate with team members to create innovative, high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in the full SDLC lifecycle and ensure adherence to testing standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Automation Testing, including creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios, and Test cases.
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of Selenium Webdriver and TestNG.
  • Experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and End to End Testing.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Experience with Lean / Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in understanding the product and analyzing user stories.
  • Experience in data analysis and developing test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like DevOps CI/CD implementation, Jenkins, Postman, and SoapUI.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a global delivery environment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
