About the position

The Technical Training Instructor at CNH Industrial is responsible for delivering Service Training courses to dealer service technicians, corporate account technicians, customer technicians, field personnel, and other internal staff. This role involves designing and developing training materials, maintaining equipment inventory, and ensuring that training meets departmental guidelines. The instructor will also coordinate logistics for training sessions and assist with product support as needed, all while fostering a professional training environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Technical Training courses for dealer service technicians, national/corporate account technicians, customer technicians, field personnel, and internal company personnel.
  • Design & develop training courses & support materials on assigned products alongside training developers.
  • Maintain equipment inventory for assigned products to support Service Training needs.
  • Ensure training courses and materials meet department guidelines.
  • Coordinate travel, supporting material and equipment logistics for on-site and off-site training courses.
  • Work at off-site locations to present localized training (Approx. 20-40% of the time).
  • Assist other product support areas (Technical Support and Technical Publications) as required.
  • Assist with equipment and material shipping & receiving on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience OR Associate Degree or equivalent experience and Minimum of three (3) years of mechanical or training experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience and Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical or training experience.
  • Candidate must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs as required by job duties.
  • Candidate must be able to safely enter, operate, and exit equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical Knowledge in one or more of the following product areas: Engines, Transmissions, Electric Propulsion, Hydraulics, Hydrostatics, and/or Mobile Electrical Systems.
  • Heavy Equipment or Automotive diagnostic experience.
  • Knowledge of dealership service department activities.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Comprehensive computer skills.
  • Course development experience.
  • Knowledge or experience with Adult Learning Methodology.
  • Knowledge or experience with Remote/Distance Learning.
