About the position

The Technical Training & Onboarding Specialist at Antech Diagnostics is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service training and onboarding for veterinary diagnostic support teams. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing various learning solutions, including e-learning modules and instructional materials, to enhance the skills of customer support specialists. The position requires collaboration with various departments to identify training needs and ensure effective onboarding processes, all while maintaining a commitment to quality and empathy in customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed needs analysis, task analysis, learner analysis, and performance gap analysis to determine appropriate instructional design strategies.
  • Create training evaluations, knowledge, and performance assessments for training deliverables.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of adult learning theories/principles and instructional design processes.
  • Utilize a multi-media approach to build e-learning and training content from scratch.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain project documentation such as training plans, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Identify technical and communication requirements for new training programs and support program pilot and implementation.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify training needs for new analyzer technology.
  • Maintain training records for all Customer Service employees receiving training.
  • Provide training on installation, maintenance of analyzers, laboratory tests, and imaging equipment as needed.
  • Train on proper call-center phone etiquette and workflows specific to certain Customer Support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instructional Trainer preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years creating digital content for training or other purposes preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, peers, and leadership.
  • Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and make recommendations based on findings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in veterinary diagnostics or related field.
  • Familiarity with various computer and technological applications.
