About the position

As a Technical Video Content Creator at TP-Link North America, Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through the production of high-quality technical support videos. This position is part of our business network technical support team, where you will collaborate closely with Technical Support Engineers to gain a deep understanding of our business network products, which include Wi-Fi Access Points, Switches, Routers, System Controllers, and Accessories. Your primary responsibility will be to create instructional video content that effectively communicates the installation, configuration, and usage of these products to our customers. In this role, you will analyze team requirements and customer needs to develop tailored video content and scripts. You will be responsible for producing and editing videos that provide clear, professional, and concise instructions. Your attention to detail will be essential as you ensure that the content is not only informative but also engaging for the audience. Additionally, you will maintain and improve existing video content by incorporating customer feedback and contributing ideas for ongoing enhancements. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Technical Support Engineers to understand TP-Link's business network products.
  • Analyze team requirements and customer needs to create instructional video content and scripts.
  • Produce and edit installation, configuration, and guidance videos for business network products.
  • Ensure videos provide clear, professional, and concise instructions to customers.
  • Maintain and enhance technical support video content based on customer feedback.
  • Contribute ideas for ongoing improvements to video content and structure.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in video production and editing.
  • Experienced in writing scripts for technical and instructional video content.
  • Strong interest in network products and technologies.
  • Meticulous and cautious working attitude.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of business network products (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HPE).
  • Basic understanding of Wired and Wireless Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IGMP, 802.1X) and common networking features (VPN, 802.1Q VLAN, VoIP, Multicast, Centralized Network Management).
