About the position

The Technical Whitepaper Writer will be responsible for creating detailed technical documents that explain complex technologies, products, and services to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a strong ability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear, engaging content, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical details and strategic goals.
• Write, edit, and proofread whitepapers, technical case studies, solution briefs, and technical articles.
• Develop content tailored to both technical audiences and business stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor content, and emerging technologies.
• Use layout and design best practices to present complex information clearly, including visuals when necessary.
• Contribute to content strategy by identifying content gaps and suggesting new whitepaper topics.
• Ensure all content is free from errors and adheres to company style and branding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, focusing on technology content.
• Proficiency in writing technical content, including whitepapers, solution briefs, and case studies.
• Strong understanding of IT concepts such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, AI/ML, and networking.
• Ability to translate technical language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research and analytical skills to gather relevant information and organize it coherently.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and tools such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, or Markdown.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
