About the position

The Technical Writer 4 position at Kforce involves working within an interdisciplinary product team to identify, measure, and mitigate Responsible AI issues in enterprise products that utilize generative AI technology. The role requires collaboration with research and product teams to develop measurement artifacts, methods, practices, and tools aimed at addressing content harms associated with large-scale language technologies. The writer will leverage expertise in linguistics and social sciences to create guidelines and resources applicable across various language technologies and deployment contexts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, measure, and mitigate Responsible AI issues in enterprise products powered by generative AI technology.
• Collaborate closely with research and product teams to conduct deep dives into feature teams.
• Develop measurement artifacts, methods, practices, and tools for identifying and mitigating RAI harms.
• Utilize expertise in linguistics and social sciences to identify patterns across different content harms.
• Capture identified patterns in methods, practices, resources, and tools for application across various technologies and contexts.
• Contribute to the development of content and product policy guidelines for measuring risks in generative AI.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of overall experience in the field.
• 3+ years of experience with content design.
• 3+ years of experience with Excel.
• 1+ years of experience in technical writing for generative AI, AI Safety, or Responsible AI.
• Background in linguistics or social science.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders and manage workload efficiently.
• Experience in a large tech company is a plus.
