About the position
SAIC is seeking a Technical Editor and Writer to support a newly awarded contract with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Support team. This role involves writing and updating technical documentation and coordinating the activities of writers to ensure high-quality publications related to various systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Writes and updates material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications.
- Refines work of writers and coordinates activities of writers engaged in preparing technical, scientific, medical, or other material for publication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Six (6) years of experience in the development of DoD publications, including writing/editing technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines for C4ISR systems or equipment.
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
