We're looking for an experienced technical writer with a proven ability to craft well-structured, clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation while fostering deep collaboration and effective consensus-building across stakeholders. The content you create will be used by technicians worldwide to safely and successfully repair Apple hardware devices. Responsibilities

• Research technical topics through observing demos, interviewing SMEs, performing hands-on hardware take aparts, looking up information from databases, and participating in core team meetings
• Translate complexity into easily-understandable instructions for readers of varying skill and experience
• Write articles to guide technicians through each step of hardware repair procedures, accompanied by reference material such as part lists, screw charts, and functional diagrams
• Write in alignment with Apple style guides and tone of voice
• Create and manage articles in a content management system
• Collaborate with media production team on photo shoots and markups
• Upload images and media assets in a digital asset management system
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in technical writing, performance support, and content strategy, and contribute ideas for content, process, and system improvements

Requirements

• 3 years experience as a Technical Writer
• Proficient in U.S. English grammar and writing
• Ability to develop multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality work under deadline pressure

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, or a related field
• Experience as a Technical Writer of hardware repair instructions
• Experience repairing consumer electronics hardware
• Strong skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and driving alignment in cross-functional teams
• Resourceful and self motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
